HBK BRAUNSCHWEIG

HBK Braunschweig becomes a partner of the Werkstattwoche.

An exciting new collaboration: the Braunschweig University of Art (HBK) is enriching the Werkstattwoche for the first time with an art studies seminar led by Paula Gauß. Under the theme “What does curating mean today?”, students will critically and creatively examine the curatorial dimension of the workshop week, supported by curator Carla Wiggering. In dialog with artists and the team, they will develop their own projects live on site – from interviews to bilingual mediation formats – and actively participate in the university day “Art Inspires” on July 2, 2025. “This cooperation is a special recognition for our project,” says coordinator Friedo Stellfeldt. We look forward to an inspiring exchange between theory and practice!
