The planning for the upcoming 17th Workshop Week in summer 2025 has begun and completely new opportunities are opening up right at the start: The Young Generation of the Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg and the Workshop Week are cooperating.

The Young Generation, which was founded in September 2022 as part of the Friends of the Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg e. V., is committed to the interests and participation of young people in the museum. In addition to providing non-material and financial support to the Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg, the Young Generation organizes a diverse programme at the Kunstmuseum on a voluntary basis that is accessible to everyone. “Our aim is to get young people from the region interested in art and culture,” says Maver Kolosoglu, spokesperson for the Young Generation.

With this focus in mind, the Young Generation team will be creating new concepts for the accompanying student projects, workshops and creative programs for the workshop week over the next few months, which they will then accompany and implement on site with their team. “This fits in perfectly with the planned future stronger focus on young art in Lüben,” reports Ann-Cathrin Knust from the workshop week organization team.
